Ninkasi Imperial Brews & Cookery

We owe a lot to the good people of Sumer... being the 1st civilisation of the world, they gave us skills like architecture, smelting, and the fine arts. Even the first writing script- Cuneiform- was invented by them. But what really makes them our kindred spirit is their love for fine beer. So much so, they even had a goddess for it...Ninkasi.

Drawing inspiration from this rich history dating back to the 4th Millenium BC, within the walls of an industrial setup of copper tanks brewing craft beers, the design system was created to recreate the magic of that era. Starting from the logo (see the process below) to the highly detailed illustrations painted on the brick walls and reiterating the beautiful Cuneiform script to articulate the brand language, Ninkasi is about delivering an experience that's rich, sophisticated and genuine. Each facet of this establishment has been carefully designed to serve a purpose, reaching out to the young reveller and the purposeful businessman alike.
